Growing Information

Sow late February-May outdoors in well-cultivated ground manured for a previous crop. Lift for use as required. (32-36 weeks maturity.)

Sowing Information

Sow thinly into finely raked, warm, moist soil at a depth of 13mm ( 1?2") in rows 30cm (12") apart. Germination 10-28 days. Thin seedlings to 15cm (6") between plants. Grows best in well cultivated soil which has not recently been manured. Ideally lift roots when required as frosts sweeten the flavour. In severe weather cover tops with 7.5cm (3") straw, or lift some roots and store in boxes of sand or soil.

Ordered a few bits online and was genuinely impressed with how smooth everything was. Website is easy to use, plenty of choice, and everything was ready quickly for collection.

Quality of the products was spot on and prices are very fair compared to what’s out there. Staff were sound to deal with as well which always helps.

Will definitely be ordering again.
