Description
Melolin is a low-adherent, non-adhesive wound dressing from Smith & Nephew, designed to minimise trauma and pain on removal. Its unique three-layer construction combines a perforated polyester film wound contact layer with a highly absorbent cotton and acrylic fibre pad, backed by a hydrophobic layer to prevent strike-through.
Ideal for use on a wide range of wounds including surgical wounds, burns, cuts, and abrasions. Requires a secondary fixation such as medical tape or a bandage.

How to Use
- Clean and dry the wound area before application.
- Open the sterile packaging and remove the dressing.
- Place the film side (shiny side) directly against the wound.
- Secure in place with medical tape or a bandage.
- Change as directed by your healthcare professional or when saturated.
For single use only. Do not reuse. If wound shows signs of infection, consult a pharmacist or GP. Keep out of reach of children.
