Miscanthus is a perennial grass with a bamboo like stem. Often referred to as Elephant Grass, this carbon negative crop can grow up to 10ft.
This crop dries naturally in the field before harvest. When processed it provides a durable, comfortable, warm and most absorbent bed for your horse.
Our carefully managed process ensures we produce a much more absorbent product than alternatives in the marketplace.
We chop, mill, sieve and dust extract the miscanthus straw to expose its pithy fibrous inner core. The end product is a super soft and absorbent bale of bedding that soaks moisture and ammonia smells.
The results are less time mucking out, less wastage when you do muck out and a dry, supportive bed for your horse.
